Alumni who sign up are committing to corresponding with students for their entire time at the university. This is a multi-year commitment. The time commitment is minimal, only 2 hours per year per student. By signing up, I agree to represent Wright State University and act as an ambassador to incoming and current students. I will present Wright State in the best possible light. Ambassadors will be given scripts and talking points. You simply copy, paste, and personalize in most cases.

The Alumni Ambassador PACK program is a student retention program designed to help our incoming freshmen students feel supported by faculty, staff, and alumni. The PACK program starts with writing postcards to students who are just starting at Wright State in the fall of their freshmen year; you will then get those same student's wright.edu email address, along with quarterly scripts to continue encouraging them through their college career. Keep in mind we don't expect many students to write back in their freshman or sophomore years. Once they become juniors and seniors, we suspect they will reach out to you as a source of advice, networking, and maybe internships. There will be some attrition of students from the first assignment and progressing throughout the years, so we encourage you to sign up for multiple students (up to a max of ten).

**PACK matching takes place every Fall**
